Technical Consultancy for the implementation of the As-Built Drawings of a 9 MW Grid-Connected Photovoltaic Power Plant in Ablitas (Navarra).

We implemented all the as-built drawings for each of the chapters that comprise the Construction Project of the Plant: Implementation, Civil Work, Electrical Diagrams, Power Lines and Detailed Drawings. 

Energy Simulation Study for 4 Photovoltaic Power Plants (50 MW in total) to Verify the Viability of the HVAC installation in the Prefabricated Buildings in Olmedilla de Alarcón (Cuenca), Trujillo (Cáceres) and Arroyo de San Serván (Badajoz).

The energy yield per year of a photovoltaic plant is determined by the thermal performance of the prefabricated buildings where the power inverters are installed. The specific goal of this project was to analyze the air temperature in these prefabricated buildings with the aim to present more viable options of active cooling, both thermal and economically.

A series of thermal-energy simulations for photovoltaic power plants were carried out under various assumptions: an air-conditioned model (an HVAC system was installed to maintain a set point temperature) and a forced ventilation model (a system that gradually extracts air from the prefabricated buildings when the optimal performance of the inverter exceeds its threshold). The consumption of the proposed cooling systems was evaluated, and finally, the most viable option to improve the performance of the photovoltaic power plants was determined.   

Technical Study for an Energy Audit of a Warehouse with 2,300 m2 Offices meant for Storage and Distribution of Electrical Material, in Fuengirola, Malaga.

Including the following work: inventory and schedules for using the energy consuming equipment; energy situation of the building; breakdown and classification of the energy consumption; description, detailed review and improvements for the building facade; energy needs of the building; description, detailed review and improvements for the HVAC systems, domestic hot water (DHW), electricity and lighting; detailed study and optimizing the procurement of all energy supplies in the building, available aids and subsidies and energy diversification of the building.

Energy Simulation Study of a 1.5 MW Photovoltaic Power Plant for the Verification of the HVAC Viability of the Inverter Huts in Chillarón de Cuenca, in Cuenca.

The main objective was to compare, "energy wise" and economically, the production of the photovoltaic power plant in the two following cases: installing a HVAC system in the booth (a system that maintains the target temperature so that the inverter performance won't be affected), without installing the HVAC system in the booth (the inverters evacuate heat through fans that they have attached to them).

For this, it was necessary to carry out an energy simulation of the photovoltaic power plant, evaluating the thermal performance in the huts and how this thermal evolution affects the inverter performance and, thus, the annual production of the power plant.

Technical Study for Modernization and Energy Audit of the 6.400 m2 BIC-Euronova Building (Business Innovation Centre) in the Andalusia Technology Park, Malaga.
